Chamonix, Montenvers Mer de Glace Train. From the Chamonix you can take the train to the height of 1,913m above sea level. The track is 5.1km long and takes you to the Hotel de Montervers station, from here you can view the Vallee Blanche from were skiers and snowboards arrive from there sumitt at the Aiguille du Midi.
